Request for Qualifications: Architectural and Design Services

The Wood County Health Care Foundation invites qualified architectural firms to submit statements of qualifications to design the Memory Health Life Center, a proposed regional memory health campus in Quitman, Texas.

Advance notice. The RFQ document will be posted on this page on November 4, 2026. Scope, submission requirements, evaluation criteria, and deadlines are set out in that document.

Overview

An opportunity to design a new model of memory care.

The Foundation is beginning the process of engaging an architect to translate the Memory Health Life Center's vision into a thoughtfully designed campus. Through this Request for Qualifications, it will identify firms whose experience, team, and approach are best suited to the project. Firms will be evaluated on qualifications as described in the RFQ document.

The selected firm will help shape a home-scale campus that brings together residential memory care, caregiver support, healthcare education, and community partnerships, planned on a site beside a hospital in rural East Texas.
